News: The Dunklin County Health Department has announced that a contract to continue to provide WIC services for federal fiscal year 2014 which has been signed with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Under the terms of the contract, the Dunklin County Health Department will be able to serve 1,505persons eligible for WIC every month.

Breast Feeding Support Group:
Mother to mother support group meeting once a month. This support group will focus on our Breastfeeding Moms coming together to talk about their experiences with BF and what has helped them may help other Mom's. We will be having refreshments, playing games and drawing for door prizes that local businesses have dontaed for our drawing. Please bring your babies youare breastfeeding so we can see our growing families.

Temporary Medicaid Cards are given to expectant mothers who meet the income guidelines.
We offer a breastpump loan program. These breastpumps are dbl electric medela lactina hospital grade pumps. Each Mom gets her own personal kit that goes with the rentable pump. We only charge an initial $20 fee that will be given back upon return of the pump.
